Eligibility Criteria
- Diplomatic relations of the student’s country are necessary for the selection for the MEXT Scholarship.
- No applicants will be entertained who are born after the year 1985.
- According to point 2, applicants who are interested in the master of the doctoral degree program must be under the age of 34 years.
- Students 16-year education according to the Japanese education system in order to get a MEXT fully funded scholarship
- Students with bachelor’s degrees can apply for master’s degree programs.
- Applicants with master’s degree programs can apply to get doctoral or PhD degrees.
- English proficiency tests will be taken if students do their degrees from English medium universities they don’t need to enroll in this test.
Schedule of MEXT Scholarship
- From mid of September to early December: Application procedure
- From March: IGP(A) will make recommendations for students who will get the MEXT scholarship from the Tokyo University of Japan
- From July to August: An official list of all selected candidates will be displayed.
