Eligibility Criteria for MasterCard Scholars Program:

All Africans interested in enrolling for the McGill University MasterCard Foundation Scholarship, have to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

  • All interested African applicants have to enroll in a thesis program at the University of McGill.
  • Interested candidates must not enroll in any programs, in order to be considered for the MasterCard Scholars Program
  • Only interested candidates from Sub-Saharan African Countries. You have to check from the List Here
  • Interested candidates must have a valid passport; and study permit to complete studies at McGill University.
  • Candidates with permanent nationality of Canada, USA, or Canada will not be considered for the scholar’s program.
  • Applicants must have experience in interacting with bodies.
  • Interested candidates have to show intent to return back to their home country after completing their studies. So candidates must have to report and return back to their home country
  • The age of the interested candidate must be less than 35 years. Age requirements are an important factor.
