IEG Fellowships Programme in Germany
Research institutions will not be part of any university, so examinations will not be taken by the university and any academic markings will also remain separate. These all things will be done by the holder of the fellowship and the country of the applicant.
This fellowship will work for conducting a research project at the IEG of international applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
Here are some basic eligibility criteria that you have to follow to get this doctoral scholarship in Germany:
- Students with master’s degrees must be international applicants.
- Students must apply for a doctoral degree program.
- Students must enroll in a full-time PhD degree program.
- All things will be covered under the working of the fellowship holder’s supervisor in the respective country of the applicant.

- Fellowship Support
The IEG is offered by federal and state governments so research projects will be funded by these organizations and no other organization can fund or support this scholarship.
IEG Fellowship applicants will get a stipend of € 1,350 every month.
- Family Support
Those applicants who have their partners with them but do not have much income or income less than 450 EURO may get an allowance. If applicants also have children can also submit an application for the child allowance.
